RIP, John Entwhistle The bassist for The Who is
dead at 57. I saw The Who at the Astrodome in 1989, which was the first of their reunion tours. It was an awesome show, made even better by having Stevie Ray Vaughn as the opening act. How often do you see an opening act do an encore and get a standing ovation?

Hi,
I remember seeing The Who years ago, and thought they were absolutely great. I don't know whether or not it was John Entwhistle, who performed, that night, with a broken leg (in a cast)-but, in any case, the group was wonderful to hear.
RIP Mr. Entwhistle.
