You English majors might want to skip this entry

The following sentence appears in a technical document I'm reviewing. Those of you with weak constitutions should avert your eyes:

"Upon acceptance of the gap analysis, an automated way of updating the information as well as introducing any new required information will be solutioned."

Some nouns just shouldn't be verbed, y'know?

That trumps my previous bad-biz-speak example, "sunsetting our old software to keep our systems evergreen."

Otherwise known as, "why will the corporate world always need technical writers, even if they're too dumb to know that they do?".
