We'll always have Paris

I'm about to take off for a week in France, in the champagne country outside of Paris over the weekend, and in Paris from Tuesday till Friday when we return. It's possible I'll have some brief Net access while in Paris, but don't expect any regular updates until I get back on Friday. In the meantime, enjoy the many fine blogs linked to on the right and on subpages from there. I'll see you next week.

Bon voyage and have fun! If you get a chance check out the armor from St Joan of Arc in the Cathedral at Reims...but only if it doesn't interrupt the wine tasting.

Two words: Musee d'Orsay. Or is that three words? Whatever, have a great time.

Take your raincoat. I just got back from Paris, and it's so nice there! But wetter than CA. Get a 3-day museum pass and go straight into the museums, bypassing the ticket lines.
Don't forget that French keyboards are quite different, and if you want to write an email, find an internet cafe that advertises "USA" keyboards. Otherwise the results are hilarious.
Bon voyage!
