Perry Tales can come true

If you, like me, believe that there's nothing like a rousing round of cheap shots to brighten up one's day, then head over to the Yellow Dog Blog and vote for your favorite Perry Tale of 2003. Was Governor Goodhair's greatest achievement this year having a group of disabled activists arrested outside his office, or was it parking in a handicap space while filing the papers for President Bush's reelection? You make the call.

Perry Gaff? $10 million scoots on special elections for redistricting? If the asshole Democrats had stayed in Austin and done the job we elected them to do, the money wouldn't have been wasted. Lay that one straight at their door, not Perry's.

Chuck,

Get your facts in order. If the asshole Republicans had listened to the people, who overwhelmingly opposed redistricting at public forums in the spring, the money wouldn't have been wasted.

In 2001, Republicans should have opposed the judicial map but did not. All the complaints that they have now were in place then. They accepted the map then.

This issue is nowhere near a top priority for Texans. It's a priority for Republicans.

As Bush would say, burn me once, shame on me. Burn me twice, shame on me.
