Charlie Wilson: The man, the movie

Nice article on former Rep. Charlie Wilson, the eccentric Texan whose career may be making it to the big screen in an adaptation of the book Charlie Wilson's War. He was an interesting guy - I wish I could find some old Molly Ivins columns online, she had some excellent anecdotes about him. Check it out.

Of course, Texas Monthly ran a lengthy article on Wilson last month, so this is old news.

Over the years I have been ashame to be a man and
a long time supporter of Charlie, And I remeber
some of the nicknames that Charlie like for his
friends to know that he was being called such as
Timber Charlie,The True yellow dog democrat, and
all time favorite Good Timing Charlie wilson,so
much I would go and hear him speak at the Anderson
County Courthouse to see what beauty was with him
there are so many stories out there about my friend it hard to keep up.But we're glad he is backin East Texas...
