Kristen Breitweiser

Want an example of former Bush voters switching to John Kerry? Try this on for size. And check out this interview (scroll down) that Kristen Breitweiser, 9/11 widow and Bush voter in 2000, did with Judy Woodruff:

BREITWEISER: ...I spent, along with the other 9/11 family members, three years trying to get 9/11 issues addressed by this administration.

And it's been a long fight, and I use the word fight because that's what it was.

And I think it's disappointing to be this far removed from 9/11 and to still not feel as safe as we could be feeling...

...We tried to have accountability assigned, and it's just not happening under this administration.

And I have a five-year-old daughter. I want to know that I'm safer than I am right now.

And President Bush has not put me in that place, and I believe Senator Kerry will.

WOODRUFF: You said that you voted for George W. Bush in 2000. What has turned you around?

BREITWEISER: I think my own personal experience in the last three years...

...I'd hoped that President Bush -- someone that I voted for, that my husband voted for -- would have been my biggest ally in trying to correct the problems that occurred on the morning of September 11th and trying to make this nation safer.

And what I found out, for the last three years, is that he was our biggest adversary.

And I'm very disappointed --

WOODRUFF: Specifically because he what?

BREITWEISER: With regard to the 9/11 Commission, President Bush:

Fought the creation of the commission;

Fought the legislative language to make sure the commission was set up in a bipartisan manner;

Fought the funding of the commission;

Fought an extension for the commission;

Fought access to individuals and documents.

...

WOODRUFF: But in the last analysis, the president did come around on most of that, didn't he?

BREITWEISER: He came around after he was backed into a corner and after a 90-8 vote in the Senate. And it was a long year.

Powerful stuff. Via Liberal Oasis.

I note from the polls that those Bush voters really are fleeing.

Look, anyone who expected him to hold outrageous approval ratings while governing as a transformative theocon prez is unrealistic. I never expected that. Why should anyone have expected that?

Still, his base remains solid -- in the 90s in almost every reliable poll done (which I point out here every time you throw out these fun anecdotes) and there are a number of wedge issues that peel off Dems (whether they are THE salient issues remains to be seen).

Sounds like this CNN interview with Woodruff should be in the "What liberal media?" files.

THE REASON BUSH FOUGHT EVERYTHING ABOUT 9-11, WAS THE FACT THAT HE WAS EXPOSED AS THE MASTERMIND OF THE ATTACKS. THE PROOF IS OUT THERE. LOOK AT THE WEBSITE:

AND GET THE MESSAGE OUT, BEFORE BUSH GETS A CHANCE TO STEAL THIS ELECTION, AND WE GET ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF ATTACKS.

OMG Douglas your a moron, anyway if any one believes that Kristen was a Bush Supporter please drink more Kool-Aid, I believe like most American's these commission are a waste of time, energy and money, I would like to know how much money has this so call 9/11 commission has cost the American Tax Payers, we don't need a commission to hide the fact that these Thugs have wanted us dead since the Marine Barracks bombing in Lebanon under Regan, yeah Regan, but Clinton had 8 years and did nothing, this Kristen lady is a partisan hack and I will be glad to see her go, she is purely using her Husbands death for her own agenda, I'm sure he is glad he's dead.

Robert Scheer's recent article in the The LA Times has reported tthe CIA completed their own 911 report in June of this year.

The Bush Administration has ordered it ne
suppressed until after the election.
because it specifically points fingers and names names high in the administration.

As a voter of Ohio (an important battleground state) I want to know now what the report says, before the voters go to the polls.

PLEASE HELP!!
Thank You

Hi;

Would like to convey a message and invitation to Kristen Brietweiser whom I watched on Larry King tonight.

I produced a video in 2002 entitled: 1,000 Points of Light; on JFK, Diana and September 11th. This was before Moore's 9-11.

I made an interesting connection between Mohamed Al Fayed to El-Amir Atta and back to George H.W. Bush through Adnan Khashoggi, whom were business partners at Barrick Gold, Ltd., of Canada.

Whether it has merit I will not be the judge. But if Kristen would like to watch the video there are two ways to do so: 1). to Contact the Brooklyn Public Access T.V. and asked them to show it again; 2). or to me at Bruce Adamson, P.O. Box 1003, Aptos, CA, 95001.

Truly enjoyed your comments on Anne Coulter.

Sincerely,
bruce campbell adamson
