Drinking Liberally

I've been reading about Drinking Liberally at Eschaton, and figured I'd check it out to see where they're organized. Lo and behold, Houston is a member city. Thursdays are inconvenient for me in the fall because of MOB practice, but I'll make an effort to drop by one of these weeks. If anyone reading this has attended any of these events around the country, please leave a comment and tell us about it. Extra credit if you did it in Boise.

I didn't realize that you're actually part of the MOB...I suppose you guys are warming up for the crushing defeat we're going to dish out to Rice this Saturday here in Austin?

(go horns)

I kind of like what a poster on Owlzone said:

"I may be in the minority here but I also enjoy driving to the game and going through the neighborhoods near Rice and seeing all the Kerry-Edwards signs. Kind of reminds me of what Rice is going through in football - we may be in the minority but we're on the right side."

:-)

If you're at the game and can make it down to wherever they've stashed us, feel free to come by and rag me about whatever the score is. I'm used to it by now.

Met with the NYC group the Saturday nigth before the RNC2004. They along with the NYC YRs planned a night they called "Drinking with the Enemy". This of course included Red, Blue, Green, and Purple (for those that can't make up their mind)cups filled with your fav adult bev. A very good time was had by all.
