No more blogger radio

All things must end, and that includes my Saturday morning stint on BizRadio 1320 AM. Host Jon-Michial Carter emailed me earlier this week to say that he had to stop doing the show because of other time commitments. I greatly enjoyed the experience, and who knows, maybe another opportunity will pop up some day. You can hear the last segments I did here and here. Thanks again to Jon-Michial and Grace Carter for having me on the air, and thanks to Kevin for putting me in touch with them in the first place.

Kuff, why not do an internet radio show?

If you mean a podcast, I think I'd feel a little self-conscious just talking to myself, or even interviewing someone. Maybe some day, we'll see.

I don't think it's such a bad idea, especially since your opinions on local and state politics are becoming better known in Houston. After all, you are now a respected, award winning blogger.

Besides, don't you know that talking to yourself is a common feature of New Yorkers, even if they have relocated and not lived in the city for years. Hell, I do it all the time, and you don't see me eating squirrels now, do you? All right, maybe one. :-)

Actually, I was thinking of a discussion group connecting simultaneously by webcam and voice over yahoo or whatever, and having one central unit and host where it all came together on the host's computer and is either audio-recorded or even video recorded by the host's computer for later broadcast or is piped directly to the radio show website.

It would be basically a conference-type get together via internet coupled with broadcasting or recording the A/V "conference call" for live or later boradcast.
