Borris Miles wins by a not-as-close-as-I-expected 53.5-46.5% margin. I was there till almost 11 at his party, and the place was packed and raucous. More in the morning, but damn, was that fun.
Barbara Radnofsky's win was much less suspenseful - the AP called it by 8 PM. A quick look at the results shows she did vastly better in many counties that Gene Kelly had carried the first time around. I'll noodle with that tomorrow.

I can tell you don't live in the district. I do and I was literally called daily on behalf of the Borris Miles campaign and had a door-to-door visit. Never once heard from Al Edwards's campaign; I have no idea if they made any effort to get out the vote but my single data point suggests not. I hadn't been home from voting but 10 minutes that I received a call reminding me it was election day. (It was not quite 5:45 p.m. and I was voter #43 in my precinct. Grrrr.)
I don't know what went wrong with Al Edwards but his recent voting record and the topics he found to be of burning importance no longer represented me.
