Is there a third act for Tom DeLay?

Will Tom DeLay saddle up for one more electoral ride if the courts don't give him a way off the ballot? I take a look at the options at Kuff's World.

Of course, he is going to run. His ego is far too big to allow the Democrats to benefit from his obvious effort, albeit a failed one, to rig an election. This is going to be great!

Can we officially start calling him Tom "Quitter" DeLay?

Yea, but who really cares anymore?

You're all being played. DeLay had this whole thing lined up from the begining. What would be more disheartening for Democrats than to resign only to get "forced" to run again...and win? Heck, he salivating at the thought of getting re-elected and then saying "I've tried to give up my post but my constituents think I'm too important."

Patrick may be on to something there. Been watching the man-on-the-street interviews on TV and it's pretty clear that the legal issues involved here are lost on the average voter. Course, these are the same average voters who sent DeLay to Washington unopposed so many times before, so what did I expect?
