Forward, spring!

Everybody remember to set their clocks ahead last night? While I don't care for losing the hour's sleep, I love Daylight Savings Time. I love having that extra sunshine at the end of the day. Darkness at dinnertime is depressing to me. Obviously, the days are getting longer as well, which is also a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Basically, DST says to me that spring is here, and that always makes me happy. How about you?

Whereas I hate DST because I find getting up and leaving the house in the dark to be depressing.

I think I would hate it less, though, if we changed when lose an hour. I could get behind the plan to change it at 2 p.m. on Monday (the shorter the Monday, the happier I'd be) or at 2 p.m. on Friday (the weekend arrives an hour earlier!).

DST also means that it won't be long until the Astros get back to town. I can hardly stand it....
