a nice rant about the music industry. Personally, I've bought about ten CDs so far this year. Every single one of them was bought from a band I saw at the Mucky Duck. There are some CDs that I eventually want which I'll have to buy a an actual record store, but with the possible exception of the O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack, none of them will be chart toppers. By God I'll embrace my descent into Old Fogeyhood if I can strike a mortal blow at the RIAA in the process!
