Gary Farber has a nice piece about John Ashcroft's recent remarks, in which our breastphobic Attorney General says
"Civilized people -- Muslims, Christians and Jews -- all understand that the source of freedom and human dignity is the Creator. Civilized people of all religious faiths are called to the defense of His creation. We are a nation called to defend freedom -- a freedom that is not the grant of any government or document, but is our endowment from God."
I find it very interesting that people like Ashcroft now seem to be going out of their way to include Muslims when speaking positively about religion and people of faith. Anyone else remember when the watchword among the religious right was "Judeo-Christian"? Well, apparently Muslims have made the big leagues. I'm willing to bet that while this lexical change began before 9/11, it's really become noticeable since. One can take this as sincere outreach by people who have traditionally had a very narrow view of morality, or one can take it as crass pandering to a group of voters that generally went to Bush in 2000. Either way, it's interesting.

By the way... religion is a scam. God came to me the other night and told me to write a book because the Bible was completely fabricated. I just finished, would you like to meet up sometime and hear me read it? I'll pass around a collection plate and we can eat Pop-Tarts, since God told me he's actually a Strawberry Pop-Tart. I wrote it down in my book. We should all live just like my book says, or God will be angry. No really, I SWEAR it's true!

I'll detail it: Christianity was conceived to be a surrogate father figure to the unruly parentless teens of the Times.. A fantasy authority that none could prove, nor disprove... The Meek, Weak, and Suppressed, stuck to it like dog-ma poo to a shoe...
In time, great Art and Science thinkers developed powerful passive human conditioning techniques... Rome saw Art and Science as a means to solidify and subjugate the Masses into obedient tithing numb mindless herds.. into a perpetual flow of Money from all levels of Life, especially the Mindless-Poor...
The conditioning removed mindless people's confidence, making it easy for them to stop searching for truth.. as if religion had confined the whole world's cultures in a great trash-can of mindless fears, numb complacency, and manipulated silence...
The evolved conditioning, applied from birth; I.E.: "kiddie bible classes".. was designed to base and attach itself in and to the faithful victim's creative center, right brain hemi, top center...
When the Conditioned one attempts to process thought beyond the allowed ceiling of 7% mind usage, they are hit with a tremendous headache.. then the conditioning pushes their thoughts into a ridiculous slush-zone, from which they begin reciting fairytales and nursery rhymes, after which the conditioning pushed their thought processing into defending religion with passionate violence... All done in seconds... A religious person reading this, will now be sustaining a really nasty headache in the top center of the righ brain hemi, and in the brainstem, and maybe even in the shoulders... In this way, Religion has doomed the Faithful to hell.. because Religion hasn't the first clue about effecting an afterlife... Religion is simply a money making Scam.. by those who enjoy the sensations of testicles resting upon their chins.
In this, Religion has put the brakes on Evolution to maintain and defend its 2000-year old Gays' wine and cheese party.. an anchor to prevent truth from ever exposing its Evils, and from Religion becoming deleted and obsolete... But the great Parasite does not realize that it is Killing its host.. and when its host is dead, so is Religion...
In summary: "Non-religious people afraid of Darwinism" because it hurts to process such thoughts.. and Life is generally afraid of anything that causes Pain... and with religious conditioning inpace, thinking on anything New causes religious people severe Pain...
