Hot dog! Berke Breathed will bring Opus back to life in a new Sunday comic starting November 23.
The Washington Post Writers Group, which will syndicate the strip, is expected to officially announce Breathed's return this Sunday. The reclusive Breathed, who rarely gives interviews, could not be reached yesterday for comment.

That was also when the Arts & Sausages Party captured control of the student government based on two campaign promises: First, they'd sandblast the motto from the front of the Main Building that read, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," and replace it with "Money talks." Second, they'd do away with student government. Which they did, when they won. (For a few years, until the yuppies restarted it in the 1980s.)
