Dewhurst asks for lesson in basic economics

Poor Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst is dazed and confused.

Stunned by higher-education tuition increases, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said Friday he wants state universities to justify the rate hikes to lawmakers.

How's this, Dave? The state lege cut funding for higher education and deregulated the tuition structure. As Greg says, what did you expect? Tuition to go down? Sheesh.
