The verdict is in
Whatever else one may think of the Houston: It's Worth It! marketing scheme (and as noted, I rather like it), if Rick "Hostshot" Casey and Kevin Whited both think it's a good idea, it must be doing something right. Now we just have to see what Rich Connelly makes of it.

The motto is better than "Toxic Concrete Morass", but still highly questionable. But this is coming from a New Orleanian (though I've lived in Tejas). How 'bout taking a cue from one of Atlanta's past slogans:
Houston: the city that's too busy to account.
Naw, I suppose that's mean.
I guess they didn't like my suggestion:
Houston: Love it or leave it!
Ugh. You've inspired me to see what Dallas has going for it.
"Dallas. Live Large. Think Big."
I guess the goal is one last push to take the "Most Overweight City in the U.S." title?
