Hotshot Casey takes a look at HB789 (though he doesn't specify it by bill number) and points out many of the bad things about it. Nothing new there to those who have been following this, and I do wish he'd mentioned the efforts of Save Muni Wireless, which has made it so much easier to follow this, but overall a nice primer for those who hadn't tuned in yet. UPDATE: Chip in the comments says Casey is referring to HB3179, not HB789. It's a bit hard to tell where they all stand right now, which is why I would have liked for Casey to be more specific. This page has some fairly up-to-date info.
