Shirley Cato, the widow of former Harris County Treasurer Jack Cato, that is. She wrote a check for $250 to Richard Garcia's campaign. You can see it here. Just so you know.
Posted by Charles Kuffner on October 24, 2006 to Election 2006 | TrackBackI actually had a chance to meet Richard Garcia yesterday afternoon when I stopped by the early voting location on West Gray to vote. I got a kick out of the fact that he was explaining to people that he was "the actual candidate", as opposed to the usual volunteer found campaigning for candidates outside of polling centers.
