New Texas Medicaid/CHIP director

A fellow named Chris Traylor is the new Associate Commissioner for Medicaid/CHIP at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Hope knew him back when they both were legislative aides, and she provides a bit of background on him. Check it out.

One Response to New Texas Medicaid/CHIP director

  1. Leakhena Chin says:

I just wanted to make a complaint about the DHS office located in Loop 288 in Denton. I’ve dropped off a Medicaid Application, Food Stamps, and TANF app. on the 3rd of August. No one has called about the status of application. I have tried calling for the past 2-3 weeks and cannot even get the operator. NOBODY picks up the telephone in that location. I just don’t understand. I have 2 kids that need medical attention and hoping to get approved for food stamps. I am a single mother going to school and work part-time. My total income weekly is 180.00 dollars. I also am renting and it’s just been so hard. I have the documents that DHS needs. Just no one to get to. I hope writing you, you will make things better not just for me, but the people out there that are struggling also. Please help me! If you could please e-mail me [email protected] just to let me know that you are trying to look into things, that would be wonderful.

    Sincerely,
    Leakhena Chin
