I saw 18 of those 50 movies that the AV club had on their list including several I wish I hadn’t. “Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter…Spring” was like watching paint dry…in Korean. “Y Tu Mama Tambien”? See previous sentence and substitute Spanish for Korean. “Adaptation” and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” were pretentious loads of cinema dung.

Where are “Michael Clayton”, “The Constant Gardener”, “Far From Heaven”, “In the Bedroom”, “Hotel Rwanda” “Half Nelson” or “Sideways”? What about “Best in Show”, “A Mighty Wind”, “Little Miss Sunshine”, “Pieces of April” “You Can Count on Me”or “Thank You for Smoking”? No “Good Night and Good Luck”, “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room” or Yoav Shamir’s “Defamation”? Can’t a brother get a “Casino Royale” up in here?!?
