“Staten Island?”

    I don’t know, the first things you see on “Staten Island” are the Richmond County Courthouse and the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. 😉

    On a more serious note, there was a plan to build a subway tunnel from Brooklyn to Staten Island in the 1920s that was never completed. Also, the New York City government proposed a tunnel from Manhattan to St. George (the northern tip of the island).
