Another hidden danger of the holiday season

I just heard a Neil Diamond version of John Lennon's "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)". If the Republican Party wants to use its complete legislative hegemony for good and not for evil, they would take immediate steps to ban such things forever.

And that was followed by Jessica and Ashlee Simpson doing "The Little Drummer Boy". Just shoot me now...

We should be so lucky

Ok folks, here's a recommendation for all of you that hate sappy Christmas carols. About ten years ago, Mojo Nixon and the Toadliquors created a personal favorite called "Horny Holidays". "Twas the Night Before Christmas" will never be taken seriously again once you've heard this version.

I think Tom DeLay is going to introduce a measure in the next session of Congress to surgically remove Barbra Streisand's vocal cords, which would be a big step in the right direction. Also, Orrin Hatch is going to introduce a measure requiring that only music performed by members of The Clash can be played on the public airways from November 28 to January 1.

The Republican party is looking out for the little guy.

Well, you know Neil used to sing with Barbra in chorus when the were in high school in Brooklyn together.

So you have a shot, is what I'm saying.
