The proposed routes

I've got just a few minutes on a hotel computer, so I just want to quickly note this Chron story about the proposed routes for the Universities line. I'll have stuff to say about it later. For now, talk amongst yourselves.

The detailed maps are up at ridemetro.org.

There is a green dot by Newcastle and Westpark.

Earlier plans ignored this population center and had those people jobbing to South Rice and Weslayan.

Let's see if Frankie and his Rat Pack cut that station.

It's going to suck to be living near an intersecond when the WHOOOOT WHOOOT or CLANG CLANG goes off at 6AM.

Um, I don't get it it.

METRO previously did not show a station at Newcastle. Various people commented that they should. So they added that station, and they're getting higher ridership numbers as a result.

Why would that lead anyone to think that they're going to cut that station?
