Once more we venture outside the City Council races, this time to HCCS Trustee District 1, where Kevin J. Hoffman is running against incumbent Yolanda Navarro Flores. Hoffman, who is not to be confused with outgoing HISD Trustee Kevin H. Hoffman, is a civic activist who has worked in the energy industry as well as with nonprofits for the arts.
