Via PerryVsWorld and BOR, Chris Elam is reporting that State Sen. Ken Armbrister is going to retire. Armbrister has been around for awhile, he's one of a dwindling number of Democratic throwbacks who frequently does not go along with the rest of his party, and he's going to have some spirited competition next year in an otherwise strongly Republican district.
