The video above is an ad produced on behalf of the Fort Bend County Democrats. Richard Morrison tells about it here and here. if you like this and want to see it on the air in Fort Bend, you can help make that happen by making a contribution. There's a lot of good candidates running in Fort Bend that could use a little support (see my Q&As with Neeta Sane and Albert Hollan here and here for two examples), so your help is both necessary and valuable. Check it out.
Posted by Charles Kuffner on September 06, 2006 to Election 2006 | TrackBackWhere would they run this ad? and as for your previous story please inform me how it is news worthy for a Democratic Party's nominee for governor to endorsed by conservationists? Thank you.
Posted by: Burt Levine on September 6, 2006 6:22 AMThis is a great ad. Who wrote/produced it? It's mature and logical and doeesn't immediately turn people off by looking too "political." It should run everywhere.
Posted by: d on September 6, 2006 7:24 AMBurt - It would run on cable, where it can be specifically targeted to Fort Bend.
D - I'm not sure. I'll check and get back to you.

Posted by: seth on September 6, 2006 8:35 AMIs it just me, or does the apparent age of the speaker not match the apparent age of the person who was filmed?
Posted by: Andy on September 6, 2006 11:26 AMLet's get this air on the air now! It is the perfect message for Dems this year.
Posted by: dennis on September 6, 2006 11:34 AMThanks Dennis, throw the Fort Bend Democrats some $$$$ and have your own personal attack ad running on cable tv in Fort Bend County.

The slogan of the TLCV, on the front of their webpage, is "Hunt. Fish. Vote".

A group representing hunters and fishers endorsing Bell is newsworthy. As for any group endorsement being newsworthy, I'd say in a year with 5 candidates for governor, every endorsement is valuable.
