Updated interactive House redistricting map from the Trib

The Trib published a table when the Solomons redistricting map for the Texas House first came out that showed changes to each district’s partisan makeup. That map was modified before its final passage, so they have now produced this interactive map that shows you whether Bill White or Rick Perry carried a given district in the old and new configurations. I’m going with 2008 data for my analyses because 2012 will be a Presidential year and that provides a more comparable situation. It’s always good to have another perspective, so take a look at their map and see how things might look in a non-Presidential year. You should also see Greg’s commentary on my non-urban entries, as well as his maps of Harris County districts. I’ll be back next week with more districts to watch out for.
