This lady presents the fresh perspective that at large#5 so badly needs/if this race was solely between her and the current council member she would get my vote and heres why.It has been a long four years for all of us in the city of houston pertaining to position #5,lots of confrontation that has really taken its toll on the voters of at large 5 in which a changing of the gaurds is exactly what we need.
What kuffner’s interview with this canidate doesnt cover is the fact that the houston police officers union and the houston fire/un- both endorse her-thats impressive.
I had the opportunity to speak with canidate laurie robinson a few months back,i was literlly floored at how well she delivered her platform,I must admit its refreshing to hear a canidate with a workable dept- friendly platform that unites not only the city admin together, but the voters as well.

If i was a betting man,I would suspect that Houston would follow suit with the houston police/ fire union and endorse canidate laurie robinson becuase she may be the breath of fresh air that at large 5 so badly needs. This canidate makes this race extremly close and one to watch.

I had a chance to meet and visit with her and she seems to be all business and very professional. It is time for a change and I hope she gets it. I think she would be a definite improvement on Jo Jo.

  3. Concerned says:

She has a great shot, but with Dr. Jack there, Jo Jo will get another well deserved shot at City Hall. Jo Jo is the only one with enough integrity to speak her mind and do whats best for the people, not the mayor.

  4. East End Dem says:

Jolanda Jones has so much integrity she can’t stay out of ethics investigation

  5. Joshua bullard says:

concerned-did you bump your head on something?????if your still concerned-donate a few packing boxes to jo-shell need em come december-you can bet the farm on it.
