Runoff endorsement watch: Reiterating

The Chron repeats its endorsements for the district Council runoffs.

Richard Nguyen

Richard Nguyen

District F: Richard Nguyen won his first election two years ago in an upset against incumbent Al Hoang. Since then, he’s proven himself a compassionate and capable representative for District F, which follows along the Westpark Tollway toward the city’s far western edges.

[…]

District H: Karla Cisneros has served as a teacher and board member for the Houston Independent School District. From those positions she has seen how Houston has become a city of haves and have-nots. Cisneros wants City Hall to step up and help kids and families to succeed.

[…]

District J: Mike Laster is running for his third and final term on City Council. He’s worked his way up from the grassroots, having served as president of the Sharpstown Civic Association and chair of the Sharpstown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone.

See here, here, and here for the originals. I presume the Chron wanted you to remember them, so here they are again to remind you.

i am asking all of my city employee friends and those that live in district F to vote for Steve Le,

clearly Steve Le is the better candidate for District F . joshua ben bullard

Joshua Ben Bullard, I would feel better about your vouching for Dr. Le if you would also disclose to the readers of this blog that you are being paid by him as a campaign worker. His most recent finance report shows a payment to you on Oct. 4. And I hope you will be transparent and reveal which of the other candidates you speak for and against have agreed to pay you, or refused your overtures to work for them as a paid campaign worker.

For the record, I don’t live in District F, but am a decisionmaker in two organizations which have also endorsed Dr. Le.

If you look at the finance reports of 2013 you will also see that Richard Nguyen’s campaign paid a political strategist to get elected and you will find my name their as well,so I would commend your organization on endorsing Dr Steve le,as the assuming fact that something must have gone completely wrong with Richard Nguyen if Bullard is not it.in 2013 we had no endorsement, very little money,we were up against an incumbent that had 80,000$ to spend and we pulled away with the win by 194 votes.district f is where I was born and raised in,I have my finger on 800 votes in this district, I assure you,Richard Nguyen needs to be looking for a job.Joshua Bullard
