I don’t have anything to say this morning

Twenty people murdered in El Paso by a racist piece of shit. Just families, out shopping for back to school supplies. You’re not safe anywhere from an asshole with an automatic weapon and a manifesto. I grew up in a high crime era, but I never worried that I or someone I knew would be randomly gunned down on the street. But here we are.

We all know what needs to be done. We are not powerless. We are, for now, held hostage by a federal and state government that are dominated by a political party that will not do anything about it. We have the power to change that. I don’t want to live with the status quo. I don’t want my kids to live with the status quo. I have, and you have, the power to change it. What will we do?

Trump and all his Republican supporters like Bill who promote hate and violence have to shoulder some the blame.

Below is what one Trump supporter wrote

Have the demarcation line of the border very clearly marked , have another line 50 feet into the interior of the US clearly marked, and give orders for the soldiers to shoot to kill any person entering the kill zone from the Mexican side, period. Women? Children? Old people? Military age males? Waste anyone that crosses from Mexico into the US. Back that up with predator drones . and perhaps an A-10 every 3 or 4 hundred miles, for close air support for larger groups, and you’ve secured the border, with no fences.

No Manny, there’s a difference between defending a border and mass murdering innocents. Of course cherry picking the previous thread trying to create a false equivalence is the best you can do. It’s unfortunate you can’t tell the difference. If you try to enter a US military base, without permission, and after having been warned off, you’ll get shot. Those MP’s aren’t psychopathic murders, they are defending a border. This monster murdered people who had done nothing wrong. It’s just a real shame he wasn’t killed. Now all those families have to deal with a trial, more publicity…..It’s infuriating.

The one thing we can agree on is, this guy was motivated by pure hate, which seems to be the one common theme of all of these attacks, the shootings, the stabbings (in UK), the bombings, etc. I’m sure we’ll find some mental illness there, too, once the investigation gets cranked up.

This is heartbreaking, infuriating, and just…..such a fricken’ waste of life. Looks like Ohio also had a tragedy last night.

    What we do know:

‘Gun free zones’ don’t work. Notice this douchebag didn’t choose to shoot up a gun range?

  3. Manny says:

Bill you (like Trump) are a racist, a bigot, a hater, you are part of the problem that is happening, just admit that you are what you are. You like Trump and all his racists supporter have blood on your hands. Bill like Trump you promote hate of those not like you. You use the same words the killer used, for example an invasion, illegals, etc.

People need to stand up and every time someone like Bill spews hate they should stand up and not remain silent.

The other major party that has blood in its hand is Fox News. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2019/08/el-paso-shooting-fox-breaking-news-garrett-tenney-gillian-turner.html

You Bill in all probability are a paid troll for the Trump Party. You do one thing promote division and hate.

Like Jules mentioned, go start your own hate blog.

  4. Bill Daniels says:

    Manny,

Once again, your ire is misplaced. I didn’t molest you. Trump didn’t molest you. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a white person that molested you as a child. I’m sorry it happened to you, but it’s time to move on.

Since you STILL want to go there, here’s a flashback:

    “Manny,

You’re a sad, bitter, shriveled old racist who time has been left behind, kind of like Cummings, except you didn’t get rich off your race baiting. I posted a Time magazine story, a direct quote from Pressley, and a video of Ilhan el Said Elsi. Which one of those was a lie? Did I fake the video? Get the quote wrong? Do you suddenly have a problem with Time magazine as a source?

I pity you Manny. Despite the affirmative action provided by whites that enabled you to get an education and employment, you still have misplaced vitriol for white people. I have a theory about why that is.

You were probably sexually abused as a kid, maybe by a priest, a tio, or maybe a family friend. Because of your shame, you can’t actually lash out at the man or men who hurt you, so you substitute white people as the target for your rage. News flash, Manny, it wasn’t a white man who abused you, it was most probably one of your own. If that person or those persons are still alive, you need to confront THEM, and stop using whites as a substitute whipping boy.

Time to cowboy up, Manny. Despite your constant lashing out, I feel like I know you, and I would like to see you live out your golden years in peace, and get some happiness out of life. What happened to you wasn’t your fault. How you deal with it is.”

  5. Jules says:

    Please block Bill.

  6. Bill, enough. Please leave this thread alone. Don’t make me ask a second time.

  7. Manny just said that everyone who supports Trump share the blame in these mass shootings. Is that really o.k.?

  8. Manny says:

Trump and “all his racist supporters”, Paul are you a racist supporter? I thought you were a lawyer who understood the use of words.

    I am not the only one that has pointed at the finger Trump, he is the leader you are a follower of his message, you have not defended him lately that I am aware. I presume that you did not know what you were voting for when you cast your ballot for him. But, honestly, anyone with a clear mind could see that he was a racist and a bigot. His words when he came down those fake gold escalators;

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best, they’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

But maybe I don’t know you as well as I thought I did.

Many consider the Trump defenders and supporters as enablers of his hate and racism. So Paul do you feel like you have blood on your hands? Why are all democrats and their ideas socialism Paul?

  9. Manny says:

Maybe I am just one of those progressives in progressive lala land.

“Blah blah blah….why do you think the legislature didn’t pass Whitmire’s crap. They saw the data. Like I said you guys are in progressive lala land probably getting stoned longing for the legalization of marijuana. Own it…you know I am right and while you are at don’t forget to kneel for the flag.” Paul Kubosh

  10. Joel says:

“Manny just said that everyone who supports Trump share the blame in these mass shootings. Is that really o.k.?”

it took every last one of the 60+ million votes to get him elected (and probably some that weren’t even cast so much as counted). as president, trump has caused an increase in these episodes, as recent studies confirm. how much of a cause and effect through-line line do you need?

  11. I voted for Trump. So yes or no. Did I have anything to do with this evil?

  12. Manny says:

To answer your question, yes, you did Paul Kubosh. He did not hide who he was or his agenda of hate when he campaigned, so you did your part in promoting his hate agenda.

What baffles me is how offended Republicans get when the words “you all” are used, but yet have no qualms about putting a genetic label on all Democrats.

  13. Joel says:

“I voted for Trump. So yes or no. Did I have anything to do with this evil?”

    100%

  14. As much as I like kuffners Post I will remove myself from this forum. To say that shows the depth of hate that you have. You will not see me here again and I will never post here again. You have become that which you despise. You have real problems.

  15. Manny says:

If I hate Paul, what do you call the monster you voted for?

  16. Easter says:

    Paul A Kubosh:
“We have a president whose words inspire and bolster perpetrators of these heinous acts. That makes Trump not only a moral abomination, which no policy outcome can offset, but a threat to national security. Those encouraged by his words in recent years kill more Americans than Islamist terrorists. If that is not justification for bipartisan repudiation of this president and removal from office at the earliest possible moment I don’t know what is. Those who countenance and support this president for his white-grievance mongering are not merely “deplorable” but dangerous.”” – Jenifer Rubin, conservative columnist for the Washington Post

  17. David Fagan says:

Paul K, I’ve considered the same.
