Make yourself at home

Had a great time last night with Ann, Kevin, and Brian. We hung out and talked about a zillion things until the ESPN Zone restaurant in Downtown Disney finally threw us out at midnight. Thanks for making this traveller feel right at home, y’all.

    “Y’all?” Have you been in TX long enough to use that?

    My brother lives in Gloucester, MA, and maybe his grandkids will be treated like locals.

    You’d be surprised how easily the word “y’all” slips into your speech here. For the record, I’ve been in Texas since 1984 (just about half my life now) but it really didn’t take that long before “y’all” started coming out of my mouth. It did take longer for me to get over the shock of that realization. 🙂
