Steve Brown, a 35-year-old with a résumé of political experience, has big plans for the moribund Democratic Party in Fort Bend, and his confidence in the party’s ability to start winning some races as early as this fall is backed up by the research of University of Houston political demographer Richard Murray.
You can see the outline of Brown’s vision in a PowerPoint presentation on his campaign website. As we know, Fort Bend has been trending Democratic in recent elections. With some better organizing and volunteer energy from the FBCDP, they can break through this year.
