Do I blog about “Lost” too much? Nah.

How happy am I that there’s a new Lost tonight? Very very happy. That said, having watched a lot of football on ABC and ESPN these past couple of weeks, I’m glad I won’t have to see any more promos for it.

Am I the only person who finds it odd that a show about plane crash survivors on an uncharted tropical island with mysterious beasties and powers has required less suspension of disbelief than a show about life in suburbia? Not that it has (so far) reduced my enjoyment of either show, mind you.

Next week: the shocking truth about Boone and Shannon. I’m ready.

Is it just me or does “Lost” bear a strong resemblance to old NBC series “The Fantastic Journey”?

If you didn’t like “Sex and The City”, you’re not going to like “Desperate Housewives” as much as “Lost”. I think “Lost” appeals to the people that like “24”.

    Just my opinion.

Agreed on both counts…Lost has an entire following at my place of work!

That’s an interesting thought, Mr. Hughes. My mother would bear out your opinion. She hadn’t been big on television drama since “Hill Street,” but then “24” came along. And now we quit watching “The News Hour” halfway through to switch to “Lost.”

Has any one heard the theory that the story is actually about them being in purgatory? And they must atone for their sins there on the “island” in order to pass on?
