Meet Henry Cisneros at Peter Brown’s campaign headquarters tonight

Dos Centavos brings the word that Peter Brown will have a grand opening celebration at his campaign headquarters tonight, with special guest Henry Cisneros. It’s at 3907 Main, right at the Ensemble/HCC light rail stop and it runs from 6:30 to 8:30. Call 713.528.0049 for event details.

    Tom-
    You missed a great chance to tour our office, located right next to our city’s light rail. I’m sorry you choose to see the worst in people, but from the response of the over 200 people that spilled out of our campaign office, Secretary Cisneros was a HUGE hit!

    That is a right neighborly offer. Thank you, in all sincerity.

    I will agree that HUD Secretary Cisneros was not as miserable as Cuomo.

    Since I am not a resident of the City, I can not cast any vote for councilmember candidates.

    Further, I do not contribute to any councilmember candidates so as to avoid any future appearance of a conflict of interest.

    As far as the comment the office is situated in close proximity to the tram.

    part of my reply to Mr. Brown:

    I do not question your motives or your generous contribution to Houston. This is not a personal attack on you but rather on the NUTS (New Urban Transit Supporters) and the failed concept “Smart Growth.”

    For the past few years, I have publicly wished to be buried under a METRORail station so that my decedents could visit my grave at least once per week as they ride their METRO issued CHICOM built bicycles to the Main Street tram station on Sunday mornings for the “Free Fare” ride to “Baby Doc” Brown park for the Castro rally.
