And so it ends: After 37 years, AstroWorld is closing its doors for good. While we wait to see who buys the land it sits on and what they decide to build there in its place, here’s a one last visit story, with pictures, for your entertainment.

I loved astroworld and i can’t believe it’s gone.
My wife and I went one last time last weekend. I’m not sure if it was because it was closing and they didn’t care anymore but the park left a lot to be desired. Long lines on roller coasters with only one train running. The rides were not just dirty but downright grimy. Food service sucked out loud. I stood in line to get a coke refilled with 9 people in front of me. After 25 minutes they had serve 5 and I gave up. And to be honest the roller coasters were just not that good.
If our experience was indicative of what the park had become, it deserved to die.
