With the passing of Labor Day comes the traditional Media Profiles Of Candidates You May Not Be Familiar With Yet period. The Express-News kicks theirs off with this story about Linda Chavez-Thompson, who is the Democratic candidate for Lite Guv. She’s a fascinating lady with a great personal story, and if she had anywhere near the financial resources of David Dewhurst, we’d be talking about this race at least as much as we are about the Governor’s race. I’ll be doing an interview with her soon, but in the meantime go read that story and give a listen to this interview I did with her back in May on the subject of immigration.
