The clueful fanboy podcasted on supersized chupacabras

Here are the latest additions to the Oxford Dictionary of English, many of which will be familiar to the blogreading crowd. I’m more than a little shocked that a piece of 1930s slang like “eighty-sixed” is just now qualifying – either the term is back in vogue, or it’s one heck of an oversight – and rather abashed that “overdog” had never occurred to me before.     To make the day just a bit more interesting, I will attempt to use all of these new words in some written form of communication today.

    And I must say that based one my college experience I would have come up with a very different definition for “chugger”.

    That’s one.

    I’m surprised “fanboy” and “offshoring” are just making the list. I personally use “Eighty-six” all the time if I finish something.

    The reason why “overdog” never occurred to you is that the proper term is Overcat.
