Interview with Council Member Anne Clutterbuck

While most of my energy in covering the City Council races is going to focus on the open seats, I am also going to interview some of the incumbent Council members who have opposition this fall. With that in mind, today I present you a conversation with Council Member Anne Clutterbuck, who is in her first term representing District C. The questions I asked her are a little different than the ones I’ve been asking the candidates, mostly because there has been so much of interest going on in District C. The interview is here, as always in MP3 format, and the Kuff’s World post is here. Please let me know what you think.

One Response to Interview with Council Member Anne Clutterbuck

regarding cm clutterbuck’s response to the question regarding the bolsover abondonment: the southampton civic club is not the nearest affected civic association as cm clutterbuck suggested. the nearest is, in fact, the southampton extension property owners association (shx), comprising +/- 165 homes bounded by bissonet, rice, greenbriar and morningside. the shx poa officially took no position on the abandonment, but has lobbied mightily for sidewalks along morningside since the creation of the poa several years ago. the latest news from the poa (of which my household is a member) is that sidewalks “will not be coming.” i am disappointed that cm clutterbuck is touting morningside improvements and sidewalks as an achievement of her term in office. this issue definitely deserves follow-up and clarification.
