One, two, three, what are we blogging for?

Happy New Year everyone! Among other things, today marks my third anniversary as a blogger. I’ve seen better political years than 2004, but it was pretty darned good to me personally, and I wish that same kind of success and happiness to everyone out there.

    Personally, 2004 was very good to Sue and me. But there were enough other depressing and/or tragic national/international issues, as well as being a horrible year for some of our friends, that looking back on the year seems a little bittersweet.

    What can I say? Recognition as the best blog in Houston, a beautiful baby and meeting the US Government daily recommended amount of snarkiness would be a great year in my book.

    However, I really can’t give you a “F!” ala Country Joe and the Fish. 🙂
