Song #79 on the Popdose Top 100 Covers list is “Working My Way Back To You”, originally by the Four Seasons, and covered by The Drifters. Here’s the original:

I don’t think I’d realized before now that this version, which is the one I’d always heard, was a cover. I have to agree with the Popdose writer, it’s the better one. And yes, the bass vocal does take it up another notch. What do you think?
