You can always count on a member of the Hotze family to make an election more special. Alan Bernstein has an example, in this case an email by Austen Furse supporter Steven Hotze slagging SD17 candidate Joan Huffman, and a surprisingly measured response from State Rep. Dennis Bonnen. I think the whole thing can be summed up succinctly by Hotze’s statement that “You can tell a lot about a person and her political philosophy by looking at the persons who support them.” In Steven Hotze’s case, at least, that sure is true.
